Ohioans for Humane Farms is a coalition of animal welfare, family farming, food safety, and environmental advocates advocating for more humane standards to prevent cruel factory farming practices in Ohio.

Thanks to all of our volunteers for helping to collect over 500,000 signatures on behalf of Ohio's farm animals.
As a result, an agreement has been made between Ohioans for Humane Farms, The Humane Society of the United States, Ohio agriculture leaders and Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland that will lead to major animal welfare improvements in Ohio on a raft of issues, reforming industry practices and improving prospects for adoption of critical legislation in other areas.
